Open House for Direct Care Workers (or anyone working within the Wayne County CMH System with less than an Associate's Degree)

When:  Friday, July 10, 2009 from 12:00 p.m to 2 p.m.

Location: Grosse Pointe War Memorial
                  32 Lake Shore Rd., Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236

Description:  This Open House will introduce several programs that WCCCD offers for those currently in the Wayne County Community Mental Health System who want to pursue further education and remain in community mental health.

Who Should Attend:  Any Wayne County Community Mental Health employees who wants to further their education, specifically Direct Care or Community Health Workers.

Available WCCCD Educational Programs:

    * Pre-Social Work
    * Gerontology
    * Certified Nurses Assistant
    * Longterm Care Administration
    * Nursing
    * Addiction Studies
    * Mental Health

WCCCD staff will be onsite to assist you and answer questions. Refreshments will be served.

Partial scholarships are available to the first 100 students enrolled.
