VCE goals are:
- To learn who comprises our workforce and to identify their learning needs through focus groups,
surveys and evaluations
- To research evidence-based practices
- To develop new curricula and training for CMH staff working with under-served populations
- To implement innovative and relevant programming
- To distribute information in a variety of formats and media including web-based training and
teleconferences for the convenience of our workforce
- To offer programs that provide continuing education credits to meet licensure requirements
- To analyze the results of new systems transformations in Detroit, Wayne County and Michigan
- To stay current and continue evolving into the best system of care possible
