- EVENT NAME: Cultural Diversity, Ethnicity, and the Infant Mental Health Practice
This two day training is designed to increase participates knowledge related to issues of cultural diversity and infant mental health service delivery. The overall goal is to support participants in their efforts to provide services from a place of greater cultural attunement. The participants will build their understanding of culture and diversity through didactic lecture, small group exercises, material designed to elicit reflective process and case presentations. The training will span 2 days and below is a detailed outline of the training content.
- DATE: Monday July 20th & Tuesday July 21st, 2009
- TIME: 9AM - 4PM
- LOCATION: The Guidance Center's Center For Excellence Building: 13111 Allen Southgate, MI 48195
- SUGGESTED PARTICIPANTS: Wayne County Infant Mental Health Staff

- CREDITS: 5.5 CEU's are pending for this training.
