LOCATION: This training will be available through video-conference at five (5) locations. To attend at
Lincoln Behavioral Services, 9315 Telegraph Rd., Redford, MI 48239 (Redford Plaza-Second floor across from Bally's), click on the register button at the bottom of this page. The other four (4) sites are: The Dearborn Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, The Children's Center; The Guidance Center, Center For Excellence; and Northeast Guidance Center's Wellness Academy.

SUGGESTED PARTICIPANTS: Professionals who work in Community Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse systems with children, adolescents and their families in Wayne County, including advocates, case managers, child mental health professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and supports coordinators), direct care workers, family advocates, family members, licensed professional counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, parents and peer support specialists.
Professional staff within our Community Partners who interact with children, adolescents and their families, who are part of the Community Mental Health System, including Department of Human Services; Hospitals; Law Enforcement; School Personnel, including Detroit Public Schools; and other Social Service Organizations.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Participants will be able to:
1. Identify the classifications of attachment patterns.
2. Identify behavioral indicators of secure attachment.
3. Be able to describe culturally informed parenting behaviors that are indicated in secure attachments.
